POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Recreation Specialist - Aquatics, the Assistant Manager is a non-exempt position under FLSA, responsible for various activities and exercises supervision over the lifeguards as directed by the Recreation Specialist - Aquatics. The Assistant Manager will maintain and improve the aquatic facility and related programs, while creating public awareness of the Turner Aquatic Center and its activities. This employee must possess excellent verbal and written communication, supervisory, organizational, financial, and public relations skills. This employee’s work schedule occurs on weeknights and weekends during Turner Aquatic Center hours of operation.
